Marble run madness: Create a run for marbles to travel using a range of recycled materials. The older the child the more complicated the run – challenge them to have a moving part on the run.

Family-Friendly Recipe Idea:
Sausage rolls (Serves 8)
- Ingredients
- Packet of puff pastry
- 500g Mincemeat – your choice
- 1 Carrot
- 1 Zucchini
- 1 Red Onion
- 1 Tsp Dried herbs
- 1 Tsp Garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp of Tomato paste
Method
- Grate all the vegetables into a bowl
- Add the meat to the vegetables
- Add the garlic powder, herbs and tomato paste
- Using your hands mix and squish the mixture to a good paste
- Cut the pastry sheets in half
- Add a line of meat and roll the pastry around – cut into 6 pieces
- Place in the oven for 20-25 minuets until pastry is golden brown
