Ngurr-Ngurr

Ngurr-Ngurr is a 2 – 4 year-old room that provides a nurturing environment where children can learn, grow and develop at their own pace. Our integrated kindergarten program is thoughtfully embedded alongside our daycare curriculum, creating opportunities for children to engage in meaningful learning experiences throughout their day.

Ngurr-Ngurr embraces a range of cross-curriculum projects that encourage children to explore, question and discover the world around them. Educators follow the children’s interests and ideas, using these as opportunities to scaffold and extend their learning, development and growing sense of independence.

We believe in a consistent and intentional approach to learning, where environments are thoughtfully designed with the children in mind. Learning spaces are established to provide ongoing opportunities for exploration, creativity, connection and participation, supporting each child’s individual development across the year.

Yurn

Yurn is our 4 year old kindergarten room. In Yurn, the team take time supporting children to develop school readiness skills and work with what this looks like for each individual child. Yurn promotes independence, resilience and connectedness to support children in becoming both informed, knowledgeable and empowered citizens of the future.

With School preparation a focus, children are encouraged to start extending and deepening their understanding of both their rights and the reciprocal rights of others.  It is through the embedment of these rights that children start to develop an insight to both who they are and where they would like to take their own learning.
